This, too, shall pass.

Things that happen, and make ya think, ...well, there's gotta be some good to come out of that.

Reminds me of one time, I stopped to think, ...and fergot to get started again.

OK.  So here's the estimate:

Oil Pump Cover - 35.00
Foot peg - 15.00
Gasket - 8.00
Oil Filter - 11.00
Oil - ?  (WTFE oil costs)

Dented Yoshimura Pipe - Screw it - it ain't punctured so it'll ride
Chipped Fairing - Black touch-up paint - it'll ride
Scratched rear cowl - Battlescars.
Scratched mirrors - Who needs mirrors
Busted up frame slider - ball peen hammer straightened it out - it's a frame slider.  WTF cares.

Over all, I got off light with this little mishap.  I should be good to go in a week or so.

...but it was such a pretty bike.

I know how you feel though. When I crashed my Kawasaki I didn't fix the cosmetic stuff. The busted up fairings were actually a good conversation starter.

She's still hott.  The cosmetic side of the damage is exceptionally light.  It's actually pretty crazy how it fell over and caused more engine / mechanical damage than anything else.  This guy is lining me up with an extra fairing CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP so I'm about to have alot of spare parts just in case.  He's getting in an identical R6 tomorrow, same year, same color, same everything.

Smells like destiny to me.

She's alive.  I've turned wrenches on this bike.  We're intimate now.

What a kick ass year this is gonna' be.  Unless this is some sort of omen-type glitch and the worst is yet to come.

vespa  Guess we'll find out.  Stay tuned...
