I normally don't care about this stuff.  Should have been looking out for it..  Should not have been going so fast.. Whatever.  This one bothers me.

A guy on a bike right down the road from me stops in the road to make a left turn into a subdivision.   A woman stops behind him in her car.. Then a crazy van smashes into the woman's car from behind and she runs the biker over.   He is under her car burning to death and some people come out to help the woman.  She is asking about the motorcycle that was in front of her and the people trying to help think she is delusional.  She keeps telling them there was a motorcycle in front of her and finally they see him under the car and lift the car off of him.   The assfault is melted and messed up where it happened.
He was in critical condition the last I heard.  He will never be the same if he makes it.

I think it bothers me so much because he could not have seen this coming..  I could not have seen it coming.   I am always very careful when making a left.  I watch my mirrors and if someone looks like they are not going to stop I haul ass!
Once a cage stops behind you.. I feel ok..

Oh well.. I guess if your going to get it.. Then your going to get it.   I feel bad for this guy. Sad

The reason I said what I said was because this one can be chalked up to 'fate'. There was no way to prepare for it and once it was in motion there wasn't anything he could do to avoid it.

Sheesh.. makes me want to ride real high and not so low.. but damn, low looks sooooo gooood.

Hey WB,

I didn't read the story very closely...weren't there a total of 4 vehicles in that wreck before it was all over?  The motorcycle, the car that stopped behind it, the car that hit first, then another car smacked that pile-up....

I'm in Silverhill today....will be heading home after 3:00 PM.  Come on over.
