think I need some help on this one. I have been building carbs for 20 years now and this one has me stumped!
Bought a bike thats been sitting for years, done this I don't know how many times.
Took carb off and cleaned everything Main, pilot, neddle, and diaphram. And yes I washed out the tank.
Put it back together and it runs like new except the idle wants to hang up sometimes. Blipping the throttle won't bring it back down, you have to lug the motor to get it down?  think
I'm done for tonight but I will be back at it tomorrow.
Any ideas from my gear headed brothers?

What type of carb? Maybe the air slide/piston sticking?

The cable is smooth and snap right back. Everything is there so today I'm just going to run a can of seefoam and see if it helps. If not I will go get a new Idler jet and try it.

I think I got it. The bike was so rich it would run with the fuel screw all the way in, even with stock new jets. So I opened the air intake to compensate for it........Only time will tell?
