Has anyone rode the Natchez Trace Parkway from Mississippi all the way up to Tennessee? Is it worth the trip over there to enjoy the whole thing?
I am thinking of taking off work a few days and hitting it. Was thinking of taking a day to ride to Natchez hitting backroads the whole way and maybe do a little exploring around Natchez. Staying in Natchez the night and getting up early and hitting the parkway and running all 444 miles on the second day and staying the night in Frankiln, Tn or maybe make the track to Nashville. And then hit some backroads coming back home on the third day.
Or I thought about doing it all in 2 days. Ride from here to Natchez and then hit the Parkway and hit up as much as possible then finding a place to crash for the night and then next day finish the parkway and hit interstates coming back.
Looking at roughly 1000 miles round trip.

I've been wanting to ride it but I'm told it's a boreing ride. They say it's 45 mph and you will get a ticket if you go any faster. better take an extra day for it.

I heard it was 50mph. But also have heard they were strict on the speed limit.
Hell if nothing else what I was thinking is if it gets boring then jumping off the parkway and hitting some backroads.

The Trace is fine for a few hours. After that it's time to find another route.

I've done it in a car, it's not that bad. There's a lot of woods and lakes, gentle curves, and cops. I wouldn't mind riding it, but I'm not a sport bike rider.

Whether or not it is boring depends on the rider. There ain't many curves until you get almost to the end. There are some interesting things to see along the way. Get a tourist map from the Park Service that will help a lot.

That is what I am looking at. Some time away from here for a few days and a nice easy laid back kinda ride.

I think you will like what you get then especially if you just need the road and the bike for a long ride, been there done that plenty of times.

If you do this ride, it will be worth the effort. I have been wanting to ride the length but ain't found the time. I have ridden to the north end a couple of times. Watch out for deer and turkey.
