I'm standing in the kitchen today minding my own business when my Southern Link chirped. It was my friend George (Harley RoadKing rider and savior on the famous blown tire incident back in April) Anyways to make a long story short he and I made a very very nice deal on a 1990 KTM 250 EX/C. respect Yes its a basket case, no I have no idea what I'm doing with it except it will be running by spring. Heres the sales brochure, I'm on my way out to make pics of the actual bike but I thought a view of how it actually was supposed to look to begin with would be nice way to start things off.

Well now upon further review it seems that this bike is a 125 not a 250. Thats cool.

OK so it seems that this bike is going to need rings, a clutch basket, crank bearings, wheel bearings, clutch actuator arm, swing arm bearings, shock linkage bearings, clutch perch and lever, brake perch and lever, front master cylinder rebuild and eventually new number plate/ headlight combo and a front fender. I'm planning on resisting the urge to hurry this project along and instead since it is stripped down and scattered around the garage I want to do a nice frame up job on it.

Well you could do all that work.. dunno OR...  You could give me the bike for free and spare yourself all the trouble. lol    I would be doing you a HUGE favor. happy

Well heres a quick update. Its not  a 250 after all, its a 125. Which is quite nice since a friend of my wife's in Kentucky just happens to have a whole engine sitting in his shed for this bike. Its for the MX model though but other than the stator and the wider ratio tranny I should be able to get most everything I need of of it, Except for a piston and rings and a gasket set. So I'll get the motor wrapped up and get to moving on bearings brakes.  Thumbs up
