Had a great time, was 100% ready to bail and go home though when someone decided to pull into the Western Sizzler to poison everyone. So JC and I went and grabbed a real meal at Chevron down the street (5th Avenue candy bar)..

Although there was a time in my life (when I was a younger man) that I swore I'd never wear chaps (last week I believe it was) if it hadn't been for Val going above and beyond the call of duty and buying me some I'd have never made it to 29 Dreams much less Russell Cave, so again, thanks Val. Now I have the right to say, "Look at that fag in the chaps and leather jacket" and not get my ass kicked. Like being black and being able to say, 'How are you my good friend?'

Was nice to meet everyone:

To the Montgomery Mustache Bros. I hope you made it to Nashville and I hope they like your music.. the solo moved me to tears.

To the guy that shared his blue cans with me, thanks!

To the Park Ranger that made me and the Montgomery Mustache Bros. Jr. Park Rangers, keep on keepin' on!

To the guy who had  a vest made of patches and the jacket made of buttons, WOW!

To the Native Americans who used this cave for an asundry of purposes and left behind all this wonderful stuff for us to dig up, sorry.. my ancestors were Vikings, we came and visited and left you alone.. unlike those Spaniards.

Hey everybody ! I had a really good time on the ride and enjoyed meeting all of you . Jim and I rode over the mountain left out of the russell cave gate. The rode was a four or five mile winding road of gravel , just beautiful and was nice to go off the beaten path. We pushed on to nashville to stay with Jims friends and go see the Clint Eastwood film " GRAND TORINO" it was hilarious. We rode a total of about 800 miles the bikes ran good and we had fun arriving home safe about 8 pm. Hope to ride again soon. I will post pics later today! Thumbs up

It sounds like it was a good ride sorry I missed it. I had a list of honey do's that needed to be done I had put them off long enough. Everyone ride safe and keep the rubber on the asphalt.
