Mystery BBQ Ride --- Postmaster Style 6/29/2013
« on: June 17, 2013, 01:04:47 PM »
I'm going to try a Mystery BBQ Ride, again. The ride will be on Saturday, June 29, 2013.

We will meet at Ditto Landing at Noon. There will be a 4 hour ride on the hills, valleys and twisties of Madison and Jackson Co.
This ride is suitable for all riders and will be at posted speed limits. Breaks will be at least every hour.

Location hint (sorry no videos)

We will eat at 4:00pm - eat lunch before the ride or meet me at Mullins Rest. at 10:45 that morning.
This will be a buffet style dinner with ribs, BBQ and fish w/ all the sides. There is also homemade ice cream for dessert.
We ate there over the weekend. There was fish, chicken, and BBQ on the buffet. Sides were greens, pintos, potato salad, rolls, cornbread muffins and hush puppies. All for $10.95 plus drink. They limit you on the ribs but you can pay extra if you want more.

Keep the location private if you know.

BBQ will be the last stop on the ride.

Post up on where you plan to meet up with the ride.

Mullins Restaurant - 607 Andrew Jackson Way in Huntsville. Marker A

Ditto Landing - On the south side of Huntsville, by the Tenn River. Turn on Hobbs Island Rd off of Hwy 231. Ditto Landing is about a half mile on the right. I will be parked by the river. Marker B

This sounds like fun.  Count me in starting at Mullins.
I ride, therefore I am.

Two of my favorite places to eat - Mullins and BBQ.  But I have to work until 3:00pm Saturday.

Will have tire on by Friday. Work Saturday will determine whether I make it to Mullins or Ditto Landing.

Anyone bringing the wife, fiance, girlfriend, boyfriend:o or other significant other along for the ride??

My wife will most likely be riding with me unless there is a significant chance of rain. She's getting a little better, but she is a fair weather rider.

Cool, I am trying to get the wife to come with me. She won't know until that morning whether she will be able or not.

Haven't seen you peeps up in Yankee Bama in a while. Looking forward to it.

Hope to see y'all at Mullins.
