Looking for a new job
« on: October 17, 2016, 10:09:44 PM »
Well after 10 years I guess I've learned the hard way that you can't be a mover forever. Need something with more stable pay now that the wife and I own a home.

I'll list some work experience and what not below

Worked as a mover for 10 plus years driving a truck packing trucks dealing with customers (of the nice kind and the irate kind)
Worked doing IT stuff never got certifications but would be willing to if need be did that for 3 years or so. Website development too though that's changed a damn good bit.
Sold parts over the counter, looked up model numbers on everything from books to microfiche and computers.
Done the mechanic thing for a time but I do most all my own work (obviously i can't do alignments or a/c work at home lol)

really just looking for a steady paycheck that's somewhere north of 30k a year. . . just keep me in mind if y'all hear of anything. Not in a dire need of something but looking to move up into a better way of life and more bikes...

They are always hiring at honda manufacturing in lincoln. Check their website for direct positions or with aerotech and Elwood staffing for the temp to hire positions. I been here for a year and really like it except for the rotating shifts.

B.F.Goodrich on B.F.Goodrich Blvd in T-town. It is across the street from Hunt Oil refinery. If you have industrial maintenance skills, they are hiring. You can put in a resume and application on the Michelin U.S. website..
